Our History

In 1999, Universal Wireless was one location located in Standale, MI. As the store excelled, the company grew. Under the leadership of owner Jamal Aqel and rep turned general manager, Jason Graves, the company has grown to over 40 locations in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

If you've been to a Sprint store in West MI, WI, OH, MN or PA - there's a good chance that you might have actually been in a Universal Wireless location! We run both destination stores and mall kiosks. Sometimes you may even see us out and about in other businesses running table events! Many of our locations are staffed with certified technicians who are ready to help you fix or replace that phone that's been driving you crazy!

At Universal Wireless, we are not only focused on sales and customer service - but also the development of our people. We want to see you be successful in your position and we provide the tools to get you there. Some of those tools include a 90-day training program, on-the-spot coaching, general improvement coaching, and an extensive support staff.
